Heads or Tails is a tradition in the rulebooks since the beginning of primary school where kids decided that this is a necessary step because kids. At the start of every game, a coin will be tossed and each player choose either heads or tails to determine whether the player chooses serving first or to choose any side of the court. The winner of the toss will make first choice.
Scoring System
The rules and regulations of badminton states that the badminton match consists of 3 games at most. In the men’s singles and doubles, the side which scores 21 first wins the game. This rule remains unchanged for women.
At one point, if the score becomes 20-all, the umpire has the right to continue the match up to 22. The competitor who wins the match will be the first to serve in the next match, if there is a next match, of course.
Change of ends
The rules and regulations of badminton require the competitors to change ends with opponents after the completion of a match. This might be attributed to either the Voodoo or the Butterfly effect.
